BOOK YOUR NEXT BREAK
Whether it's just 3 of you, or perhaps 30, The Grange Trekking Centre is here to help. It's a real, authentic outdoors experience and can be as fun and adventurous as you all feel comfortable experiencing. Work social groups, stag or hen days and team building days are also very popular. The group leader goes free with every 10 customers. So make sure you rally support and assemble a large team. For those wishing to stay overnight, there are also the guesthouse and camping facilities to accommodate you.
The Victorian farm guesthouse has a comfortable sitting room with log fire, and you'll be happy to know we are TV free. This gives you a chance for quiet relaxation, book reading or happy banter about the days' exploits. In the dining room we serve country-style home cooking, three course evening meal and coffee, full English breakfast, and also provide packed lunches for your following day. Each bedroom is en suite with tea making facilities. There is also a separate bathroom, washroom and shower room.
We are a non- smoking establishment. Occasionally pets are allowed by arrangement. The nearest shops are at the interesting and well known book town of Hay-on-Wye. At the market town of Abergavenny there is a larger selection of shops and also a leisure centre and heated swimming pool. Both ‘Hay’ and ‘Aber’ have a cinema. There are many castles and places of interest to visit. We offer private parking and there is local transport available by arrangement.

Basic natural camping is available, with the use of toilet/shower/washroom which is not far away. The field is situated in a delightful spot with a tree lined stream flowing along one side, and allows pitching for tents on the flat. The mountain ridges soar around you on all sides, and there are lots of birds and wildlife. A truly amazing place to wake in the morning!! Full cooked breakfast, packed lunch and 3 course evening meal are available for campers and glampers.
We also have a cosy glamping pod with a king-size double bed, and a Shepherds’ hut with a double bed, a single bed, and a wood burning stove, which are available per night. These are situated near a hard road for easy access; these also have the use of toilet/shower/washroom.
We are pleased to be able to provide a separate campsite, if necessary, for guides, scouts and Duke of Edinburgh Award expeditions. The Shepherd’s hut and sleeping pod are available for leaders, assessors or those not wishing to camp!
The annual works social do - here’s a chance to get to know your work colleagues in a different environment! Give yourself and a few friends a challenge and a goal to accomplish. Everyone can learn a new skill and get to have great fun doing it. Do you want a totally different and unique hen or stag party? Have a days riding together and then have a campfire BBQ afterwards, and sleep out ‘under the stars’, this is one party that will never be forgotten!
We are very happy to give cubs, brownies, guides and scouts a fabulous time, confidence building and learning new skills. This can also be enjoyed with an overnight camp nearby. We are pleased to be able to provide a separate campsite, if necessary, for guides, scouts, Duke of Edinburgh expeditions and hen/stag parties.
However, always keep in mind you've got another option – shepherd’s huts and sleeping pods are available for leaders, assessors or those not wishing to camp! The Grange Trekking Centre is an Accredited Activity Centre insuring regular inspections of standards for comfort and safety. REVIEWS AND TESTIMONIALS
Back in the saddle, booked and off we went, a great 2 hours and scenery worth the trek up the hillside. Staff are great and friendly, patience with first timers as well.
Epic ride over the mountains on some crazy 4x4 horses. Sarah was an excellent guide. Bit nippy in the shade but once up on the mountain it was bright and sunny. Beautiful landscape.
Lovely place and lovely people and the instructors were so nice about the horse riding, I am definitely returning sooner or later. Thank you so much for the brilliant service guys
